TEMPORAL DRAMA
The exhibition’s title, ‘Temporal Drama’ references Oliver Sacks’ seminal work, ‘The Man Who Mistook his Wife for a Hat’, in regard to the state of the body and mind during a dissociative episode. Georgia’s focus on sculpture and print work examines the temporary lapses of time and reality in unknown bodily phenomena.
‘Temporal Drama’ invites audiences to engage with a saturated hyper-reality that oscillates between dissocia, scientific imagining, and apologetic impulses.
