ARTIST BACKGROUND

Georgia Dunn (she/her) is an intermedial artist from Glasgow, Scotland who graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh with a First Class BA Hons in Theatre and Film Studies.

Georgia uses self-reflective practice in her approach to making auto-topographical and autobiographical artworks. With a keen interest in sensory embodiment, Georgia uses different materials such as metal, ceramics, print, and performance to evoke a haptic visuality.

Having previously worked across different art fields including the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Scottish cabaret scene, Georgia has continued her studies on activism, maximalism, and comedy across her MFA studies. Being new to an art school environment, Temporal Drama, her recent exhibition, illustrates the making skills that Georgia has developed in tangent with her academic background.
